Can my employer monitor Safari browsing on my personal iPhone through a VPN on my work laptop connected to the same Wi-Fi?

Can my employer have access to my Safari browsing on my personal iPhone when I am working remotely from home, connected to my personal WiFi, not working on my iPhone but where my work owned laptop connects through a VPN to my same personal WiFi that iPhone is using? What if I don’t use my WiFi on my iPhone? Also, I do not use chrome on my iPhone, but there are signs it is somehow being used by my employer in the background to monitor me across all of my devices even when I’m not working. Can that happen?

No.

There is no way for your employer to directly access your computer from the iPhone they manage.

If you use different browsers, then even less chance of that happening.

The real question is why do you believe your employer is monitoring you across your devices?

Do note if you have an Exchange email account installed one your computer, its profile and security settings may allow the employer to monitor your activity, but since you added the account, you consented to this even if you did so unknowingly.
