Still not sure what I paid for… or how to cancel subscription on Nebula - astrology app
Downloaded Nebula because it looked interesting - sleek design, and I’ve always been into astrology apps. Gave it a try, signed up for a palm reading with a small fee, and figured I’d explore more later. Then a few days passed, and I noticed a charge. I tried to figure out what plan I was even on, but the subscription section inside the app never loads. It’s just stuck showing "updating". I couldn’t see what I was paying for or how to cancel it. Out of curiosity, I checked the palm reading again and then compared it with a friend who used different details. Turns out we got the exact same text. Not even slightly different.
That was honestly the moment I realized I didn’t feel great about keeping the app installed. I’m not saying it’s malicious or anything, just that I expected more transparency, especially when money is involved. Would’ve appreciated at least a proper breakdown of what I was being billed for.
