Safari URL space dropdown suggestion window

iMac with Ventura 3.7.5 (22H527) and Safari Version 18.4

In Safari, is there a way to turn off (stop) the "window" that drops down below the address (URL) space?

In my photo, it is blank but often it contains "suggested" sites Safari "thinks" I ought to visit.

I would like to turn it off altogether, never to return. Is that possible?
