How to migrate SOME Adobe apps to my restored 27" iMac?

As a graphic designer, my 27" iMac OS10.14.6 became so full that it stopped working. Couldn't even use my email anymore as it said "HD is full". Apple Care helped me boot up and then I erased the HD completely, hoping to start anew. I still use Adobe CS6 apps that won't let me go past 10.14.6. I will not subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud. I need 6 months to re-save years of old Adobe files and learn to use Affinity apps. Then, I can buy a new iMac. Now that my iMac has been restored, how do I get my Adobe CS6 apps and Font Manager off my cloned EHD? I don't want to migrate ALL my cloned apps and files from the EHD because that might overload my old iMac again.

Can I just drag my Adobe CS6 apps and Font Manager off my cloned EHD? I think Adobe adds hidden elements when the app was first installed. I am stuck right now and need some good advice here, please!

I cannot find any CS6 apps on Adobe’s website.

Adobe pulled those from the general site at least a couple of years ago, including any updaters. However, if you login to your Adobe account and go to your registered products page, there should be (or at least there was) a link to download the .dmg installer.

And that installer wasn't up-to-date. You still have to apply any title updates afterwards, and you may need to open a chat with an Adobe rep to do it.

Surely there has to be a way to find them and re-load?

Aren't they on a backup?

How would I re-activate my Adobe apps if I can find a way to do that?

How did you activate them in the first place?

The question is whether that still works, or whether it is not possible to activate the applications again at all. I'm not sure of the deal when it comes to CS6 but have read enough about other Adobe products to be wary of the possibility.

For whatever it's worth, I found these articles on the Adboe site – last updated in February 2025.

So you may be in luck when it comes to CS6, but I'm not offering any guarantees.

Is there any place I could download InDesign CS6?
