How to migrate SOME Adobe apps to my restored 27" iMac?

The current Affinity ____ v2 applications require macOS Catalina (10.15.*) or later. The first generation Affinity ____ v1 applications that were supported on macOS Mojave 10.14.* have been withdrawn from the Mac App Store.

I cannot find any CS6 apps on Adobe’s website.

Adobe pulled those from the general site at least a couple of years ago, including any updaters. However, if you login to your Adobe account and go to your registered products page, there should be (or at least there was) a link to download the .dmg installer.

And that installer wasn't up-to-date. You still have to apply any title updates afterwards, and you may need to open a chat with an Adobe rep to do it.

Surely there has to be a way to find them and re-load?

Aren't they on a backup?

There are probably files in various places. Also, if you are talking about installing files piecemeal, or doing a "clean install" of selected apps, you may be forced to re-activate your Adobe products.

Are the DRM activation servers for CS6 still on line?

The Affinity v1 apps are entirely self-contained so yes, you can drag and drop them from the external drive to your internal startup drive /Applications folder. If you have an email containing the license key, you may need to enter that again.

How did you activate them in the first place?

The question is whether that still works, or whether it is not possible to activate the applications again at all. I'm not sure of the deal when it comes to CS6 but have read enough about other Adobe products to be wary of the possibility.

If I remember correctly, you go to the /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. There you should find uninstall aliases for each title. Remove the ones you no longer use.
