Acer monitors flickering with 02/21/2024 Mac mini m2

My Acer model KB272 flickers badly if the Mac mini m2 was put in “sleep” mode after the last use. If “shutdown” mode is used flickering is infrequent. I have noticed that if I move the Mac mini while it is driving the display, the display goes dark briefly. I’m using a five foot long hdmi to hdmi video cable that I think came with the Acer monitor. Should I use a short high quality video cable? 83William

1st: avoid using "sleep" - many users have reported issues with "sleep"

2nd: Try to use higher quality, and shorter HDMI cable is recommended.
