USB C to HDMI Digital AV Adapter support
I am trying to use an "Apple USB C to HDMI Digital AV Adapter" with my iPhone 16e but the phone doesn't seem to see the adapter. Is the adapter maybe defective? not supported?

What do you mean by "doesn't seem to see the adapter"?
Unless you connect something to the Adapter, it will not show up anywhere on the iPhone.
If you connect a TV with an HDMI cable, the adapter icon may appear at the top of the screen in blue and your iPhone's screen should then be mirrored the TV automatically for instance.
Also, some times, the adapters may require a firmware update which may pop up a message. In these cases you need to accept the update, but make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi as it won't offer any progress or confirmation when its done beyond activating the video signal and mirroring the iPhone.
