Safari 18.4 forgets size & position

On a recent Séquoia update (not sure which one), Safari no longer holds its size and position on my LG UltraFine 5K monitor connected to my Mac mini via thunderbolt. I read in another thread to try turning off a couple tiling options that didn't work. I resize my window EVERY time I open Safari now. And it will randomly expand to almost full screen and different times. No clue why. Anyone else experiencing this and have a solution?
