How do I change group chat mode in FaceTime on my iPhone?

i try to use my iphone to call my ipad i get a message waiting for others i never did a group chat how do i clear that message so i can call the ipad

Group facetime bug Every time I facetime my group of friends, the call will be going fine and then randomly kick us from the call. This happens literally every time we speak and has been occurring since the iOS16 update. Definitely seems like a software issue
