Safari won't load pages

I just can't seem to get Safari to open a page for me. I enter type a link and click return and then nothing happens for a long time, meanwhile Firefox works like expected. I've put the same question on reddit with a video that should make it clear as to what is happening. Link

safari won't load/ refresh pages after opening laptop for at least 10 minutes... Often when I open my laptop and unlock it Safari won't refresh/ load the pages that are still open and even new pages will not load... Other browsers are working fine on the laptop. Everything is up to date: Safari 16.4 MacOS Ventura 13.3.1(a) Apple support tried several times different things on my laptop but could not fix it.

Seems some web-developers of web-sites either do not have the expertise, or are not allowed the work-time by their employers, to ensure the site works perfecly across all the browsers available. The website will usually have a help or support section, where the favored browsers are listed, or developer contact details for site-feedback etc.

If pages load slowly, try removing excess stored cookies, via Safari > Settings > Privacy > Manage Website data
