Orange Microphone light won’t turn off

The orange light that indicates that my microphone is in use won’t turn off. I have turned off the microphone on all apps including turning off Siri. I have closed all apps and have even shut down my phone. The light will not turn off even when my phone is locked.

I was trying to set up Siri for the first time on a new phone when the light turned on. I originally thought it was for when I would say ‘hey Siri’ so I shut that access off. Then I noticed it still wouldn’t shut off so I shut all of Siri off and the orange light still is on.

I'm finding really annoying and want it turned off.
