Why won’t my MTN sim work on my iPhone 15pro

I’ve used Airtel since I bought the phone last year I switch to MTN but it keeps saying No service even though I reset the network settings. But the Airtel works immediately I switch back. The MTN works well in my iPhone XR

Network status "No Service" abroad Hello. After arriving in India, the iPhone has connected to one of the local operators without a problem. When visited a branch of the local Airtel operator the trader was entering some dial codes on my iphone, calling somewhere, recieving sms etc., then finally managed to get a new Airtel simcard working. But now, after inserting my previous Czech sim card back, the iPhone no longer connects to any local network. The status bar says "No Service". If I insert the sim card into another phone, it immediately connects to the network. After resetting the network settings, still no change. Perhaps a complete reset of the phone would help? Could I use the latest backup then? Or maybe ask at an Airtel branch? However, firstly I would like to ask here, if any of you would be willing to explain why this is happening or how to fix it. I would be grateful for any advice, information or guidance.

No service on physical sim after eSim installed Hi all, after i have swapped to eSim on my Iphone 12 pro max i am having problem to use my sim slot for other physical sim cards. No matter what mobile network provider i use, my phone can’t provide service from them. I can see the dual sim in the settings. And my phone can recognise the provider (giffgaff or lebara, etc) but there is no service on my phone. The eSim works perfectly. Thank you.

sure, many places sell mobile phones that are sim locked to a carrier, they would be cheaper but then the carrier expect to make they money by the calls and data and sms and services
