Network status "No Service" abroad

Hello.

After arriving in India, the iPhone has connected to one of the local operators without a problem. When visited a branch of the local Airtel operator the trader was entering some dial codes on my iphone, calling somewhere, recieving sms etc., then finally managed to get a new Airtel simcard working.

But now, after inserting my previous Czech sim card back, the iPhone no longer connects to any local network. The status bar says "No Service". If I insert the sim card into another phone, it immediately connects to the network.

After resetting the network settings, still no change.

Perhaps a complete reset of the phone would help? Could I use the latest backup then? Or maybe ask at an Airtel branch?

However, firstly I would like to ask here, if any of you would be willing to explain why this is happening or how to fix it.

I would be grateful for any advice, information or guidance.

To be able to use any SIM across the globe you must have "No SIM Restriction" against Network Provider Lock. Please refer to the pic below.
