How do I fix an empty blurred screen and black camera on FaceTime?

i cannot see myself on facetime anymore. it just pops up as an empty blurred screen. i can see the other person, but i can’t see myself, nor can they see me. when i open my camera app too, it just turns black and i can’t find anything to fix it.

FaceTime camera is grey? I don’t know why but when I FaceTime someone sometimes my own camera ( the one showing my face) will turn grey. I can still hear and see the other person but they can’t see me they only see a grey screen. They can still hear me. I have to end the call and then recall but sometimes I have to recall like 5 times to get the camera to start working again. I don’t know why this happens and I don’t know how to fix it.

My camera turns off when I use another app on FaceTime When I’m on FaceTime and try using another app but still show the camera it won’t let me and when someone tries screen sharing with me it turns my screen black with a loading symbol
