DuckDuckGo app not working on my iPhone 7 running iOS 15.8.3

I’ve got an iPhone 7 running 15.8.3 (latest ver for this phone). I had been using the DDG app for the past 4 years with no issues at all.

Yesterday the DDG app just quit working.

Here’s what happens…..

from my Home Screen I press the DDG icon, the screen changes to all white with a DDG logo for about 10-15 seconds then my Home Screen is displayed. NO DDG !

First try a forced restart, if that doesn't work reinstall the app. If that doesn't work contact the app developer for help with their software.

Try a forced restart.

• Press and quickly release the volume up button

• Press and quickly release the volume down button

• Press and hold the side button.

• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
