GarageBand files saved on iCloud from Different devices?

Are GarageBand files saved to iCloud? It appears I lose my original songs from previous iPads....any way to find them? I've looked on my MAC OS and nada, and on iCloud, but perhaps I don't know what I'm looking for. I thought that iCloud was seamless across devices, and if not I have lost original work!

Should music ripped from CDs appear on all my devices in the Music app? I'm busy copying my CD collection into the Music app on my MacBook. But when I open the Music app on my iPhone the albums from my CDs are not listed. Should they be? I assumed music on one device would automatically get synched via iCloud to all devices. If I wanted to synch these albums across all my devices, how would I do this? And then where would the music files live: on my MacBook hard-drive AND on my iCloud storage, or just on my iCloud storage? I'm unsure, but I think I would rather the files take up space on my iCloud, than on my MacBook hard-drive - is there a way to get the files to only live on iCloud? Thanks!

Deleting large amount of music from iPhone I had auto synch set to on between my Mac Book and iPhone. Over time this built up a huge library of music on my iphone (8000 songs). I still want to keep all the songs on my Mac Book, but only want to keep a a small number of songs on my iPhone and don’t want to delete them all then reload ones I want to keep. Is there a faster way to delete a large unwanted songs at once besides one song or album at a time?
