Stolen IPhone, find my disabled…

My iPhone was stolen 4 days ago. At 13:21 pm today Find My was disabled. The thieves are threatening to release some compromising private pictures. Is there a way i can erase the phone?

How do you know that Find My was disabled? We ask because it would be impossible for anyone to remove your iPhone from Find My unless they knew your Apple ID and Apple ID Password.

Maybe you meant to say that you see an "Offline" message when you check using Find My?

Hopefully, you have not received any messages that have asked you to log on, etc and follow instructions. If you did, hopefully you ignored that message.

I'd say the thieves are trying to scam you. Don't fall for it. If you used a Passcode on your phone, unless they knew it or you gave it to them, they don't have access to anything on your phone. And I agree with Bob Timmons, that they couldn't turn off Find My unless they had all your sign in credentials. Was Find My enabled before the phone was stolen?
