Picture in Picture no longer working on my iPad

my screen in screen display where you can watch netflix, disney, youtube etc in the corner of your screen as you’re doing other things doesn’t work anymore

someone please tell me how to fix it

And when watching videos and switching through apps I noticed the videos don’t minimize and continue to play in the corner of my screen like they do on my phone. After looking into it I toggled with the Picture in Picture setting on my iPad and it still doesn’t work on my YouTube videos or any videos at that. Picture-in-picture not working I watch YouTube videos on safari and the pic-in-pic function is not working. I open the video to full screen then closes the app and the mini video screen appears for 1 second on the top left corner of my screen and then just disappears. And yes I have pic-in-pic turned on in settings and I tried restarting my phone but nothing works. Please help

Some apps may not allow for PiP to happen, but you can check to see if it is turned on by going to Settings > Multitasking & Gestures, then toggling on Start PiP Automatically.
