M1 Macmini compatability issues with BenQ EW3270U?

Saw previous issue in Apple Community: did not see final resolution. Considering purchase but need to ensure no blackout issues as reported.

That BenQ Display should work fine with the M1 Mac mini.

For the best results, you should get a short 3.3' high speed HDMI to HDMI cable.

for example: > https://www.amazon.com/8K-HDMI-Cable-Highwings-Braided/dp/B08NX5CZTF/ref=sr_1_3?

or optionally, a short 3.3' high speed USB-C to DisplayPort cable.

for example: > https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B3SB5VC/ref=sspa_dk_detail_6?

---------

If you are having black-out issues with the M1 Mac mini and the current display or the Ben-Q...

Turn On "Prevent automatic sleeping when display is off"

Set "Turn display off when inactive" to 5 or 10 minutes

Leave the Mac Mini On and only allow the display(s) to turn Off on timer

Do not manually select Sleep from the Apple Drop Down menu

Shut Down the Mac mini when away for a day or more
