AirPods 4 ANC Rumbling Noise

On my AirPods 4 ANC, in noise cancellation mode instead of blocking out noise, it is pumping it in, also when this issue happens it increases the bass on the airpod that is doing it. The AirPod that is doing it switches, so it is not a hardware issue, I have reset but it still does it, they are updated, I have cleaned the mics, I don’t know what else to do. It is obviously very frustrating, I paid the extra $50 specifically for this feature and it’s not working.
