Audible, Hoopla, and Libby do not work on IPhone 16 Pro

I've restarted my iPhone, deleted apps, reinstalled, and nothing. I get a playback error from audible and the book won't even start with hoopla or libby - which makes me think this is an iPhone issue.

Can you try to playback using your browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera)? Is it still not working? If it plays, then it can be an app-related issue.
