Audio stops

On my iPhone 13 when I play my audiobooks either from the library, Audible or Chirp it plays a few seconds and stops. It will restart but only for a few seconds. I have tried turning phone off and on. What else can I do. I listen to audiobooks all the time.

Delete the audiobook and download it again.

Audio cutting out every time the screen turns on or off While playing music, when i press the off button or the on button, the audio cuts off for a second, as if its glitching. this started only after i upgraded to iOS 18 and i find it quite upsetting. since i fidget with my phone a lot, the screen turns on and off often. its hard to listen to music this way. are there any solutions?
