✽ You may want to first update your new iPhone to the newest IOS update:
Eg: About iOS 18 Updates - Apple Support says: iOS 18.3.2
"This update provides important bug fixes, security updates,
and addresses an issue that may prevent playback of some streaming content."

Your Apple ID is the account you use to access Apple services, such as the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime and more.
✽ Check you are signed in (to your iPhone) with you correct Apple ID and password you use for FaceTime:

✽ Check you have a "Contacts card" for yourself listed in the Contacts app:
