I work in the live video field where 1080I (interlaced) is still common for lots of equipment. I recently upgraded to Monterey OS and discovered it will not output 1080I from my MacBook Pro.
Has a patch ever been released?? or has anyone found a way to trick their Mac??

Your best bet is switchresX, in the past the author has been very good at responding.
SwitchreseX won't work, it needs the 1080i display drivers which no longer exist after Catalina, Apple must have released a patch or something? So many people in the video world use Macs and 1080i?

And this the Hardware solution...
I have switchresX already and the interlace box is grayed out, I emailed the company . I know there are various hardware options, I was hoping there was some software work around so I could just plug an hdmi cable in and it would work
Monterey does not output 1080i
