Problems with Bluetooth. The built-in Bluetooth on my Mac Mini has very short range. 10 feet maximum. I'm trying to find out how to use an external USB Bluetooth radio and NOT use the built in one. I am using an Apple keyboard and mouse. The Mac Mini is somewhat built in and this could be causing the range difficulties. If I could somehow tell my Mac Mini to use a USB Bluetooth instead of the built in one I think this would have a good chance at solving my problems. I found the below discussing a change to make using Terminal. Bluetooth 5 dongle for Mac os Ventura? Can anyone suggest a Bluetooth 5 dongle compatible with Mac os Ventura? There are a lot on Amazon but when I try it with MacBook it doesn’t work, I have an old 4.0 adapter and it works, so there must be e some 5.3 that works also?

Cant see my cricut via Bluetooth on Sonoma MacBook Pro 2021 Via bluetooth I can see my Cricut Joy Xtra as a device on my iPhone, iPad, my both my work MacBooks. Of course, the one I do all my design work on for the Cricut is the only computer not able to find it. The only thing that is different is my MacBook 2021 is running Sonoma. I have turned on and off bluetooth, plugged and unplugged the cricut and restarted the computer. Is there anything else I can try. I was not willing to wait the hour and a half on hold for Cricut tech support who I am sure aren't that familiar with Mac issues. Any suggestions appreciated or is anyone else with Sonoma having similar issues.

Extend how far exactly?

Bluetooth is by definition short ranged, less than 30 feet and without any obstructions.

If you need something farther, then bluetooth is not the option.
