"Bad certificate format -9,808: I’ve been having this problem since the 18.3.1 upgrade. Is there a solution? My emails are not being sent and i don’t know why. I get the message that says “bad certificate format -9,808.” Is this on my phone/computer? Or is this a problem with my email provider? There phone gives me the 9808 warning, but my Mail likewise does not recognize my emails."

It is an issue with the iOS. Encryption is not working properly, and the process has become corrupt. So, what you need to do is...

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue. Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

- Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
- Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
- Proceed from there as necessary
