You are not the only one. Probably you're using T-Mobile or an MVNO like Mint that uses their network. They haven't made any statements yet but I'm sure we'll hear from them in a few hours about a service outage.
Interesting! I thought it had to do with me setting up a new iPhone. I remember this issue occurring years ago between Android and Apple phones. Thanks for your input!
