How do I disable the option-click hiding behavior?

Hello,

I came across a previous discussion about this issue, but it didn’t seem like a solution was available at the time. I’m hoping that has changed.

Is there a way to disable the default option-click behavior in macOS? Currently, option-clicking anywhere on the screen brings the current app into focus while hiding all others. The problem is that in most 3D animation software, option-click is the default tumbling command. This conflict makes it impossible to use 3D software while watching a YouTube tutorial—every time I option-click to tumble, my browser playing the video disappears.

Is there a way to disable this command?
