iPhone, iPad and Mac Apple Music libraries are all different

I have switched off AM library, removed the app, removed the local library files and started again - done all of this but when you re-enable, I have things tagged differently between devices, and its just different.

Surely, the point is it has ONE Apple Music database to rule them all?

I do have a tech support call follow up scheduled for tomorrow, but if anyone knows an easy way to reset and start from scratch with one definitive library, do let me know! (I have absolutely no idea why)

Don't judge me. I have LOTS of great music - but my library goes back to when the kids were babies!

Three platforms. One library. Three compilation folders! Ha!

You can have content on your computer library that is waiting, removed, ineligible, or error, for example, that won't show up in the cloud on another computer or device. Use the Songs view of the library and enable the iCloud Status column so you can see what is going on. Depending on the issue there may be workarounds to get that content to join the rest in the cloud.
