Playing music on Apple TV via iPhone (no volume contron on iPhone)

When using Apple Tv 4th as an airplay device to play music I sometimes can control volume with iPhone, sometimes I can not. (While I use screen mirroring it always Works)

iPhone keeps automatically playing music to Apple TV. I just hooked up my Apple TV yesterday and it works great. But this morning I was watching something on it and using the remote that came with it and it all worked well. But then I tested playing music on my iPhone and it overtook the thing being played on my TV and when AirPlay comes up on my phone it doesn't even give me an option to play the music from my iPhone. Sometimes it does but it doesn't even let me click on that option. Automatically AirPlay to TVs is on Never under AirPlay & Handoff. Handoff is off as well. Before when I had just a HomePod speaker (which is now being used with the AppleTV) it would always automatically play on my phone and then I would have to make it play to the speaker. Now I cannot get any music to play at all on my phone. Even if I turned the AppleTV off it just plays through the HomePod without me selecting it.

Apple TV volume control during AirPlay I am having inconsistent results with controlling the volume on my Apple TV during AirPlay from my iPhone 12 Pro. Here is my setup. My Apple TV outputs to a receiver via HDMI. The receiver is hooked up to play sound via speakers throughout my home and there is no display connected to the receiver. Also, the receiver and the Apple TV are both in the utility room in the basement so it is not possible for me to control the receiver volume or the Apple TV via IR remote without physically being present in the room, which is simply impractical. The volume on the receiver is set at a constant level. I have noticed that when I initiate AirPlay from my phone to play on the Apple TV connected to the receiver, I am able to control the volume from my phone sometimes. However, other times I am not able to control the volume from my phone. It outputs the sound at a constant level. I would like to be able to *consistently* control the volume using my phone. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Dolby Atmos Music on Lg Tv Hello together Is it possible to play Dolby Atmos / high res music on the Tv or is that still comming? The whole thing does not work via AirPlay 2, since no Dolby Atmos stream is possible here. With the LG app it does not work for the same reason. An Apple TV 4k doesent ether, because I use the only eARC capable port for the Denon Reciver and thus no Passtrought is possible. Does anyone have any other ideas or is there nothing I can do? Thanks a lot
