iPhone 15 Pro Max not syncing with iTunes 12.13.x on Windows 11 Pro

I am having the same issues posted on this thread albeit the thread is from last year. Is there a patch or upgrade that resolved this problem? Thanks for any info that can be offered.

iPhone 14 Pro won't sync with iTunes for Windows after updating to iOS 17.2 My iPhone 14 Pro will no longer sync with iTunes for Windows (12.13.1.3) after updating to iOS 17.2. I hoped iOS 17.2.1 would fix this but it didn't. I have no problem with my iPad. Once connected, it backs up but hangs on step 3 of 6 saying "Preparing to sync". This happens whether I check "Automatically sync when this iPhone is connected" or "Sync with this iPhone over Wi-Fi". Any solution?

iTunes Sync Never Finishes Syncing my iPhone with Windows iTunes: The syncing never finishes. It just says, Step 6 of 6 Waiting for changes to be applied. The phone is unlocked and no longer showing the circle icon for syncing. Authorized for Wi-Fi sync, but connected via USB/Lightning cable. This started failing in the last month, and now fails 100% of syncs. Any suggestions? iTunes 12.12.6.1 on Windows 11, iPhone 12 Pro Max iOS 16.3 (iTunes is purposely not updated to the latest version. But it used to work.)

Unable to sync iPhone to iTunes since downloading iOS 17.2 Backed up and synced my phone (14) to iTunes on my Win11 laptop Thursday. Downloaded 17.2 Friday, tried to sync this morning. Backs up fine, but keeps “preparing to sync” forever. I’ve tried more than once and also on my Win11 desktop — no dice. Seems like there’s a bug in 17.2, at least for Windows machines.
