You can upgrade to Catalina. If you do, 32-bit applications will stop working, and iTunes will go away, replaced by separate applications (Music, TV, Podcasts, Books) and Finder-based management of iPhones/iPads/iPods.

The latest version of Safari that runs on Catalina is Safari 13.1, released on March 24, 2020. There have been many Safari updates since then, but they require newer versions of macOS.

I believe that Catalina is enough to run the current version of Firefox.
