MacBook Air

I have a MacBook Air 13- inch early 2014. I currently have macOS Big Sur version 11.7.2

Will my MacBook be able to update the current/latest MacOS or not? If not? What’s my next more?

i want to get another computer. I’m realizing that I’m overwhelmed by the options to work with. Getting the money up and actually deciding how much I would spend on a new Mac has been challenging. I really want a new Mac so I can restart my business. I had my MacBook Air for nine years now.
