Why aren’t Apple putting up more of a fight against the UK government about this absolute privacy snoop?
It’s a disgrace especially after all of the supposed sincere importance Apple has placed on an individuals privacy?
Might be looking for an alternative platform if Apple don’t grow a pair on this issue!

I 100% agree with this! I think it’s a disgrace that Apple has removed the Advanced Data Protection (ADP)from the UK users only.
I thought Apple would have declined the UK government request, as they say that want to protect people data and privacy.
I have been a proud Apple users over 15 years, however, I might be looking for an alternative platform if Apple do not add the Advanced Data Protection (ADP) to UK!
No I am not. Funny thing is I was thinking about doing so having only recently learned of this as an opt in option (previously thought it was a default setting). Came to actually activate the option only to find it’s now greyed out and non functioning.

The only way to do that would be to stop doing business in the UK, stop doing business in the EU, stop doing business in China, the list goes on. Oh really? You do know this demand by the UK covers every other platform too, right, not just Apple? So i guess the question is what platform will you move too? Can you answer that question please?

Any business must comply w/ the laws of the state in which they desire to operate.
I wasn’t aware of that. I understand that there are platforms like Above Phone that appear to offer ways to enhance privacy. Regardless, it’s something that Apple and all other platforms should actively oppose, and I’m certain you’ll agree.
