With the iPhone 16 Pro (iOS 18), when I switch to video mode while connected to Apple CarPlay, the phone glitches and won’t allow me to press record. The only workaround I’ve found is to disconnect CarPlay completely before recording.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a fix that allows video recording while still being connected to CarPlay?
I've been having this issue since I updated to iOS 18 last fall. It happened with the 14 pro and now with the 16 pro. I have no problem taking regular pictures, but I can't take videos if I'm connected to CarPlay. Before iOS 18, it worked just fine.
