How do I disable the 'up next' feature in the Podcast app on iPhone?

How do you turn off the “up next” feature in the podcast app? It adds a bunch of stuff I do not want to listen to automatically and I have to waste time manually clearing it. But more importantly that isn’t how I listen to podcasts. I want to listen to the next episode of the same podcast, as in episode 34 should follow episode 33. But this stupid “up next” queue automatically takes you to some random podcast. I have turned off autoplay and it still does it. It is a terrible “feature!”
