Can the Thunderbolt display be used with an HDMI source (with an adapter)?
I need to connect my 27" Thunderbolt display to a KVM with only HDMI ports.
Any recommendations?
No. A simple adapter cannot produce a Thunderbolt signal off of an HDMI signal that does not have it.
You need a fairly complex piece of kit to generate the thunderbolt signal for the display a.k.a a computer.
