Apple Studio Display - Connect Via HDMI

Our studio purchased Apple Studio Displays and we would love to be able to use them wirelessly through our Teradeks, however, the Teradeks do not transmit a Thunderbolt signal or connect via usb-c. We've tried various adapters to hdmi, but none of them work. Is apple planning on releasing firmware, and adapter, a cable to allow Studio Displays to connect to devices via hdmi?

HDMI is a single-purpose interface that is not as capable as Thunderbolt. Thunderbolt can carry video, but also brings PCIe-type expansion (albeit at lower bandwidth than a 16-lane PCIe slot can offer) "outside of the box."

I would not hold my breath waiting for an adapter to go from HDMI on a computer to Thunderbolt on a peripheral. Especially one like the Apple Studio Display that expects to receive not just video, but USB data, over the link.
