CD loaded to itunes... Where did it go???

I came across an old CD that I wanted to add to my music library. My new PC does not have a CD drive but my old PC does...

When I drop a CD in the tray, it automatically copies it to itunes.

Okay, now where did it go? I can only see podcasts and audiobooks in itunes, but when I look at my library on the Apple Music app, it isn't there either. The download completed, and the tray popped open like it always used to.

What happened to my CD?

What happened to the music I copied off my purchased cds into my iTunes library 10 years ago? I had purchased tons of cds a long, long time ago. I still have them but I copied them into my computer about 10 years ago when CD burners and copiers were still the current technology. I don’t see any of that music in my library, only the music I have purchased. I still own two old original ipods and they still work (for now) but I want to get that music copied into my new computer (MacBook Pro) music library. Anyone have any help? I have been doing research and think an external CD player/burner, reader may be the answer. I still have a back up of the ITunes library from 2010. I simply want to be able to preserve the music that I spent years on getting into my library. Thanks!

itunes 'reading' wrong version of CD I've inserted my CD in to the computer and iTunes says there are four versions of it. I selected the title that matches the one on the CD case. When the songs show up, they aren't the same songs on the CD. I want to rip this CD and get the songs in my itunes. I've never had this problem before. How do I get it to 'read' or 'play' the actual CD I've inserted? Now every time I insert it, it shows the wrong information. Thank you for your help, this is my first time posting!
