Sync library and listening history

I mainly listen to podcasts I've downloaded onto my PC. If I sync my library on my phone, will my listening history be deleted on my PC or will it update my phone with the history?

Unable to sync apple music listen histories on iphone to mac In the recent week, all the listening histories on my iPhone cannot be synced to my Mac. The "Use listening history" has been turned on everywhere. I have tried to stop "sync library" and restart it. Nothing happened. Also, the "home sharing" with "counting plays xxx" is also on. Still, no change. So, what happened? And how can I solve it?

How can one access full history of each song played on the Music app? Seems the "Recently Played" playlist is gone, the ability to pull down on "Now Playing" to see history is gone, and since history isn't synced to the desktop app that isn't accessible either. Very simply, I heard a song yesterday. I want to hear it again. It is vexing that this isn't a very simple process.
