Why are some songs missing after syncing with Apple Devices and Apple Music apps?

When I sync using the Apple Devices and Apple Music apps I received a notification that some songs were not copied to my iphone because they couldn't be found. This is weird since I've synced them previously. Someone on this forum said uninstall the apple apps on my PC and sync with iTunes.

I did this but I'm still getting the notification.

At face value this message means that the tracks in question are no longer located at the last known path for them in the library. This may happen if you or some third party app moves or renames the tracks for whatever reason. If you try to get Song Info (ctrl+i) on the first song, and ignore the option to locate the track the File tab should display the expected path, starting file://localhost/. Compare this with the actual location, assuming you can find it, to see if there is some obvious discrepancy, e.g. an additional /Music folder, that might be reversed.
