Music app suddenly not displaying all recently added music

Hello. Since updating to the most recent ios Sonoma 14.0 the music/itunes app is no longer displaying all recently added music. It is displaying only what's been added in the past 2 months, not everything going back years, as it had previously.

I have searched music/itunes preferences to try changing the settings back to whatever they were before (the ios update) but the music preferences are very very very limited... nothing relates to recently added tracks. I manually add music to the app so I've chosen to disregard the 'sync' option for many years.

Has anyone else had a recent issue like this since updating ios?
