Airpod pro 2’s cant answer calls with iPhone Xs

This is all over the internet and wonder why Apple disregards so many loyal customers: when a call comes in to my iPhone Xs with my iPhones connected, I click the Airpod to answer but I cant hear nothing (neither does the caller) and the bluetooth connection drops after 10-15secs.

I have tried every fix and update etc there is available but still no fix for this very very annoying issue.

@Apple please up your game and make your things work.
