I have an iPadPro 6th gen and daily News+ crashed after using it for 45 minutes. Anyone else having this issue. Its been happening since iPadOS 18.1.
Sorry LotusPilot deleting and redownloading didnt help. Ive been scanning the discussions and it looks like this is an Apple software issue. Apparently the crashing has been a problem since the News apps release. Thanks for you response.
Is this a single or regular occurrence?
If your iPad running short of available resources, an App may crash/terminate. You should be able to restart the closed App without difficulty.
The crash happens daily, usually one once a day. My iPad Pro has 512 GB of drive space. The app restarts without difficulty.
You might try deleting the News App - restart the iPad - and then reinstall the App from the App Store.
That sounds like a good idea. I'll give it aa try.
