Apple News keeps crashing

Ever since the last iOS update my Apple News keeps crashing. I’ve called Apple support and they tried to fix the problem while also stating it was an issue with other users with my model of iPad and their engineers are working on the problem. It’s been a week and issue still not fixed. Anyone else experiencing this?
