Extension numbers will not work when making call when sound goes to HA and cochlear implant, only if using speaker phone.

May I respectfully suggest that you update the profile information, which indicates that you have a much earlier iPhone.
As the respondent indicated, that earlier iPhone model does not support iOS 18+.
I searched and found this forum topic because my Second generation iPhone SE, from 2020, does run, and is running, iOS 18.3.1.
My issue is that there is a delay of several seconds before my ReSound Preza PZ862-DRW hearing aids will respond to ambient sounds and actually work as intended. This is very disheartening and unacceptable, if off-topic from your concern.
