My iPhone updated to 18.3.1 last night. Today I have had three instances where my phone notifies me that missed a call but my phone did not ring/vibrate. In all three cases I did miss the call. I was able to call them back but what causes this , a flaw in the update?

Thank you Lawrence. I have checked all but all settings are as they should be. The missed called were from known numbers. One missed call happened while the phone was in my hand and I was checking my email. A notification of a missed call from a known number. All missed calls did show up in my recents, when I checked after getting the notification. I have also received several calls throughout the day with my phone ringing/vibrating as normal.
Yo! Had the same problem. To solve it, go to settings, sound and haptic, ringtone, haptics and choose one other than the default one.

(if its apps like whatsapp, go to app setting and do the same thing, same goes to alarms)
Is it possible that you turned Do Not Disturb and forgot? Or that you have a schedule for it?
The Do not disturb is not on, I previously checked and just rechecked before replying. As well, If it was on, I would not have received some of my calls as normal
Well, I’ve exhausted all of my troubleshooting experience. Sorry I couldn’t help more.
I’m having the same issue, even with FaceTime calls.
