27' LED Cinema display not turning on with Mac mini

The display suddenly stopped tuning on. The display is good. It works perfectly when connected to macbook pro. Apple checked the mini and all ports-AOK. At one point the display work when starting the mini in safe mode-but no longer works.

Mac mini display goes black New mac mini is hooked via HDMI cable to an ASUS display. Periodically the display goes black for about 2 seconds while in use. This has occured during video chats, online use and while watching videos. The video goes completely black. No degredation of image quality prior to going black or upon return of image. All software is up to date. Connection is good. Any suggestions?

The power supply of the Cinema Display is probably failing.

The switch from STANDBY with dark screen to ON with picture on may no longer be working properly.

Is not an uncommon problem.
