Getting what you Want:

These are just user-to-user forums. you are not speaking with Apple here. No one here has any call on what’s to be created and when it is to be released. And Apple is not going to be rude to its customers, just blowing off your needs. If you want them to release something, then you’ll have to provide them feedback on it, and wait it out.

“Apple ignoring people with a disability: I am hearing impaired. In August 2024, I purchased a set of AirPod Pro 2 after I read about their ability to be used as hearing aids. It was not clear that they required TGA approval to use as hearing aids. I read recently that the TGA had approved clinical use in mid December 2024. I have no update on when Apple will release iOS that will enable the hearing test and use.[…]”

Ask your Doctor for Some Advice:

Apple’s not out there to get you. They just have yet to make this manufactured. Have an otologist? I recommend you speak with your doctor about this. If they are not technical enough, then I guess ask your PCP. Don't make this a health risk.
