How to sync iTunes with iPhone 15 on Windows 11?

iTunes used to work wonderfully. Now not so much. Apple is a community of devices. Once they quit talking to each other I get a hankering to try Samsung or other brand phone. I have an iPhone 15. It works well. My desktop is Windows 11. It works well. iTunes refuses to work with them. If iTunes is calling it quits why am I still in the terribly expensive Apple ecosystem? And searching the Web it appears Apple has quit supporting iTunes.

First, Apple does indeed still support iTunes on Windows, though it's gradually being superseded by their newer apps, Apple Music, Apple TV and Apple Devices.

As to your problem, without any details as to where things are going wrong I can only guess, but perhaps something here will help:

If your computer doesn't recognize your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Note that if you have installed any of those the newer apps from Apple, they take over most of the functions previously provided by iTunes. You will use Apple Devices to sync your iPhone now. Or uninstall those apps which will restore iTunes back to its original functionality.

Regards.
