Is there any way to turn off swoosh noise with iPhone messages when sending an outgoing text?

I am texting someone back and forth, but while I am texting my outgoing messages do a swooshing noise. How do I turn that off? Also, I get another noise, separate from the notification noise that sounds like a pewww whenever I receive a text while I am looking at the text just sent me on my screen. No noises are required because I am looking at Messages app at the exact conversation. The people around me are getting annoyed at the noises. I can’t turn off notification noises to texts because that means I can’t hear my texts arrive when my phone screen is off (that is a different noise, I am not referring to).

Thank you, but unfortunately, this is not a workable solution (finger pointing at Apple, not you). The problem is that doing this also turns off a third sound, a Notification sound while your phone is locked or screen is off. This is the sound I mentioned at the end of my post, which has a default "dingggg".

If you turn that off, you won't be able to hear that a text message has arrived at all anymore!

That still won't mute the sent swoosh, however.

It actually does. I just tested this and it turns off all 3 sounds:

"peww" incoming noise (while you have Messenger open)
"swoosh" outgoing noise (while you have Messsenger open)
"dinng" incoming noise (while you have Messenger closed, or your screen off, etc.)

You can mute your phone if you don't want to hear the sent sound, but eliminate the sent sound, you can't do. If you don't want to hear a tone when you get an incoming text, open the Settings App and find Sounds & Haptics. Don't use a text sound for messages. That still won't mute the sent swoosh, however.
